1. Where did you grow up?
San Antonio, Texas, and the south Texas region on my grandfather’s ranch in rugged Bandera County.
2. What is your favorite verse, book or story in the Bible? Why?
The post resurrection stories of Jesus.
I resonate with these disciples: Mary Magdalene at the tomb, the rushing Emmaus travelers, the startled apostles, the surprised Thomas, Jesus by a charcoal fire calling out to people he loves, fishermen holding both empty and bursting nets.

“American President.”
Annette Benning as a candid woman leader and the final speech by Michael Douglas.
4. Who are three people you admire?
Maya Angelou (poet), James McClendon (theologian) and Barbara Jordan (Texas congresswoman).

Although not an expert, I enjoy sculpting in terra cotta clay.
