Central Arkansas (Little Rock, North Little Rock, Benton and the metropolis of Wright, Arkansas).

2. What is your favorite verse, book or story in the Bible? Why?

The story of Samuel.

He is a bridge character from judge to prophet, non-pedigreed (ah, those sons of Eli), and catalytic voice during a time of dramatic change in the history of God’s people.

“Babette’s Feast.”

Despite the strict religious community’s fear of any worldly pleasures, their greatest experience as a worshipping community turns into an indulgent if not hedonistic celebration of the pleasures of fine dining and life.

4. Who are three people you admire?

Danka Å eÄova (a local ministry partner in Slovakia), Harold Phillips (former CBF Heartland coordinator) and Barack Obama.

5. What is one little-known fact about yourself?

Once upon a time in another life, I managed a well-known tax preparation firm’s office and specialized in clergy income tax. I did taxes for fun and relaxation.
