Vidalia, Georgia, on the nearby campus of Brewton-Parker College, where my parents were faculty/staff.

Psalm 24:1.

My dissertation focused on the relationship of Baptists to the environment, so this verse has deep professional and personal meaning.

“State of Play.”

I’m a sucker for a political thriller.

James Dunn, Bill Leonard and Doug Weaver (my dad and a professor at Baylor University).

  1. What is one little-known fact about yourself?

I’m a lifelong doubles tennis player — undefeated during the 2018 season!
