Recently several persons have expressed interest in the Nurturing Faith Experience: Glacier set for July 13-18. Bruce Gourley has made reservations for us at the Belton Chalet, a popular place to stay in the Glacier region.

We hope to acquire more space there if needed. So it’s a good time to make plans to join us.

This link will give you an overview. For those who attended the Yellowstone experience last year, the format will be very similar.

Bruce will meet us at the Bozeman airport on Monday, July 13. After a great dinner at the Montana Ale House and a get-acquainted time, we’ll spend the night at a lodge-style hotel in Bozeman.

Arising early we’ll make the scenic drive to Glacier and spend the next three nights at Belton Chalet. The days and evenings will be filled with exploration. We’ll also plan some optional sunrise/sunset hikes, rafting and other adventures for those who like to squeeze in more.

Ken Mottram, a hospital chaplain and long-time Glacier region explorer, will take us to places tourists rarely experience. Nightly sessions, led by Ken, will be casual but informative. He has done extensive work in suicide prevention.

We’ll return to Bozeman on Friday night for a stay-over before our flights out on Saturday — unless you choose to stay longer on your own.

Our goal is to provide a very personal, memorable experience far beyond the typical tourist visit.

The cost of $1,850/person includes all housing, personalized ground transportation and tours, lunch and dinner daily, a cowboy cookout, boat ride and group sessions. Participants are responsible for their own airfare to Bozeman, Mont., arriving by 3 p.m. on July 13, with departures anytime on or after July 18. (Add $250 to guarantee a private room throughout the stay.)

Spaces are limited at this point, and can be confirmed by a deposit of $400/person payable to Baptists Today, P.O. Box 6318, Macon, GA 31208-6318. Or you may call (478) 301-5655 to pay by credit card. (Deposits are refundable before May 1.) Balance of payment is due on June 1.

Also, you may begin checking on flights to and from Bozeman though rates tend to improve closer to departure dates. Adventure awaits, but don’t you wait too long to make plans to join us.
